The past and present partners include:

  1. CARE West Bengal: Supported capacity building and hand holding of the women federation. The support also helped facilitate networking with different agencies both in the realms of social and financial intermediation.
  2. UNICEF: Was the first organization to have extended a hand of collaboration with CDHI and worked closely to establish schools in the Buxa region. UNICEF’s then officers Sulagna Roy and Rajiva Singh worked as real facilitators with strong sense of partnership. The partnership further extended to Universalization of Elementary Education (UEE) and counselling for the HIV/AIDS.
  3. Government of West Bengal-Panchayat and Rural Development: CDHI’s women SHG has been a story of success in the state which saw development of a members’ owned and managed federation. Seeing the success Government of West Bengal asked CDHI to support their capacity  building program for the SHGs-SGSY as a District Technical Assistance(DTA) team. The collaboration has been very effective in ensuring the quality SHGs in Jalpaiguri and Cooch Behar.
